WINDFORCE FORENSICS

Premises Liability, Code & Safety

When someone is injured on a property, the question is whether a code violation or unsafe condition caused it. We take the measurements needed to answer that question and report what they show (whether that helps the plaintiff or the defense).

What We Do

We go to the site and quantify the conditions that matter in these cases: walking-surface slopes, step and ramp geometry, lighting levels, handrail and guardrail compliance, egress paths, and ADA access requirements.

Then we compare each one to the code that applied to the property. If the condition violated code and that violation lines up with how the injury happened, we say so. If the building met code and the fall was due to something else, we show that with the numbers.

The Typical Questions We Answer

  • Did the property meet the applicable building, accessibility, and life-safety codes?
  • Were lighting, slope, or surface conditions within the required range?
  • Is the alleged condition actually what caused the injury?
  • What would code-compliant conditions have looked like?

Why WindForce Forensics?

We get specific because codes are specific.

These cases are won on documented measurements held against the right section of code. A clean set of numbers tied to the applicable code is hard for the other side to argue with.

We build that record and then explain what it means in language a jury can follow.
